The current ERE price
ERE price index
LRE 26 E — electricity, mid price
ERE electricity (LRE-E), 1 ERE = 1 kg CO₂e. Price based on OLYX market data — not Voltico’s net payout to the customer. ERE→kWh conversion: renewable share 50.5% (grid mix 2026) × 183 × 3.6 / 1000.

This is the market price of an ERE-E (source: OLYX), converted to cents per kWh. It is the price an ERE trades at on the market, not your payout: the fee still comes off it, and the market moves. Voltico gives no price or revenue guarantee.
What does Voltico cost?
One fee, and you only pay it once your ERE’s have been sold. No subscription, no sign-up cost, no upfront costs.
- Fee: 20% of the gross ERE sales revenue per calendar year (excl. VAT). We deduct it from the proceeds; the net amount lands in your account.
- Set-up cost: none.
- Minimum charging volume: 300 kWh per calendar year. Stay below it and we do not register for that year and you pay nothing.
- Verification costs: borne by Voltico. You get no invoice for these.
- Administration fee: €25, only if you ask for a correction or revision of an invoice or payment statement already issued.
When the verifier visits
A registration only becomes final after a positive check by a verification body registered with the NEa. Voltico pays for that check, including any site visit. As a home charger you get no invoice for it.
The one exception: if a rejection or extra work turns out to result from incorrect or incomplete information on your side, we can pass those costs on to you.
How you become a client
- You sign up on our site and sign the authorisation agreement digitally. That lets us communicate on your behalf with the NEa, your grid operator and your charger.
- We check your connection: the MID meter in your charger, whether the charger sits on the right EAN connection with a smart meter, your identity, and the data link with your charger.
- Once that is done, you are a confirmed client and we start registering, with retroactive effect to 1 January of that year.
- We register your charging sessions with the NEa as ERE’s and sell those, often bundled with other clients’, to companies that must realise emission reductions.
- You get paid through our payment service provider (Stripe), usually within two working days after the buyer has paid. In the Portal you see your ERE’s, the prices realised, the fee deducted and your payouts.
You have 14 days to withdraw after signing. The agreement runs per calendar year (an NEa requirement), with a minimum term of one year. To stop afterwards, give notice by 30 November; the agreement then ends on 31 December.
What Voltico does for you here
Voltico handles the verification and the administration towards the NEa on your behalf; you only provide your authorisation and your charging data. You pay the service fee only on what has actually been sold, never in advance.
