From charging session to payout
Every kWh you charge can generate ERE's. We register them, sell them and pay you out periodically. You pay no upfront costs, only a service fee on the proceeds: 20%, stepping down to 6% for businesses.

Our software checks every charging session before we register it.

Register
We register your charging electricity with the Dutch Emissions Authority (NEa).
Charging EVs with only grid energy? You can still earn ERE emission credits.
Sell
Fuel suppliers buy your ERE's. They need them for their legal CO₂ obligation.
We always bundle EREs into larger offerings, making them more attractive to buyers and allowing our clients to benefit from economies of scale. For larger charging volumes, we can explore fixed prices with buyers.
Pay out
Periodically, because we track your charging data in real time. Until then your money sits on a segregated third-party account.
We automatically issue an invoice and transfer the income to your account, eliminating any manual administration on your side.
Once a year an independent verifier checks everything. Your overview is ready by then.

Everything you need to know
Signing up through our website is entirely without obligation. You only commit to Voltico as your emission credit service provider once you successfully complete the full onboarding. From that moment the authorization applies for the current calendar year, 1 January through 31 December. After that you are free to cancel or switch. No connection costs, no cancellation fees.
Voltico deliberately works only with annual contracts: we would rather leave the decision to renew to you, based on a good experience rather than on small print. The ERE authorization system works comparably to health insurance, where an authorization is valid for one full calendar year at a time.
