Voltico nominated: Top Climate Tech Builders 2026

Voltico has been nominated for The Ones to Watch: Top Climate Tech Builders, an initiative by The Green Times, Climate Tech Connect and Climate Tech Summit. Together with more than twenty partners across the Benelux, among them ABN AMRO, Invest-NL, Rockstart, VP Capital, Port of Antwerp and the City of Antwerp, they selected 100 climate tech companies building technology that contributes to a more resilient and sustainable Europe.

We are proud that Voltico is part of this selection, alongside other innovative companies such as iwell, Fastned, Smappee and Fairphone.

Technology that strengthens the business case for electric transport

We work with technology grounded in principles from the fintech world, allowing businesses and consumers to capture the financial value of their EV charging data through emission reduction units (ERE's, also known in the market as ERE credits).

Our platform automates the ERE process, from collecting and validating charging data through to registering the ERE's, trading them, and paying out the proceeds. Own renewable generation can be included too, provided the conditions are met.

That makes the ERE market more accessible and more scalable, and helps strengthen the business case for electric transport.

Public vote open until 26 October

From 30 September to 26 October you can vote for the nominated companies. A jury then selects four finalists from the companies with the most votes.

The jury includes Elena Doms, Rinke Zonneveld, Emma Kloppert, Jacqueline van den Ende and Maurits Groen, together with the Climate Tech Connect team. The winners will be announced live on 10 November 2026 at the Climate Tech Summit in ZOO Antwerp, where 400 to 500 founders, investors, CEOs and other senior stakeholders from the European climate tech ecosystem come together.
