Despina leads our growth and market development in Belgium, focusing on building strong partnerships and expanding Voltico’s presence in a complex and fast-evolving regulatory landscape. She works closely with partners and clients to turn regulatory and market complexity into scalable, commercially viable opportunities.

She brings over 15 years of experience across EV charging, e-mobility, and clean energy, combining strategic leadership with a strong background in advanced R&D and technology development.

Before joining Voltico, Despina held senior leadership roles at ZEEKR Europe, including Head of Charging and Energy, where she shaped the company’s European charging and energy strategy and operations. Prior to that, she spent several years at Toyota Motor Europe, working across new business development and advanced R&D on charging ecosystems, hydrogen technologies, battery reuse, circular-economy initiatives, and emerging energy technologies.

She combines strong commercial leadership, deep technical and R&D credibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven ability to build partnerships, align stakeholders, and execute in fast-evolving, technology-driven markets.

Despina is based in Brussels and, alongside her work in mobility and energy, is active as an entrepreneur in sustainable fashion, reflecting a broader commitment to responsible production and circularity.
