At Voltico, we are building the go-to software and trading platform for emission credits (EREs, successors, and international equivalents) related to electric charging. We are a driven team accelerating the energy transition by making complex processes simple, scalable, and compliant.

Our customers include logistics operators, real estate owners, retailers, and other businesses with charging infrastructure and annual electricity consumption of at least 50 MWh. As we onboard our customers and partners and expand, we are ready to scale our commercial engine with focus and discipline.

We are looking for a Business Developer who will actively contribute to Voltico’s commercial growth by acquiring new customers and supporting partner-driven sales. This is a hands-on commercial role with direct impact on revenue and market traction. You will work closely with the founders and the core team to execute our go-to-market approach.

Voltico was founded by the entrepreneurs behind Felyx, shared mobility, and Cino, fintech, and combines deep expertise in e-mobility, software, and payments. From Amsterdam, we are building an international platform with strong regulatory foundations.

About the role

As Business Developer, you focus on identifying, developing, and closing new commercial opportunities across our key customer segments and partner channels. You will:

  • Identify and approach prospective customers in segments such as logistics, real estate, retail, and energy-related businesses.

  • Execute the commercial funnel from lead generation and first contact through to deal closing, in close coordination with the core team.

  • Maintain a structured and up-to-date sales pipeline in Hubspot and provide input for prioritization and forecasting.

  • Support the development of partnerships with installers, energy suppliers, and other distribution partners.

  • Present Voltico’s value proposition clearly and credibly to decision-makers.

  • Share customer feedback and market insights with product and tech teams to improve propositions and onboarding.

  • Work towards clear commercial targets and report on progress and results.

  • Contribute to improving and scaling the commercial process as Voltico grows.

Who we are looking for

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in SaaS, energy, mobility, or adjacent markets.

  • Experience selling to business customers with multiple stakeholders.

  • Affinity with partner-led or indirect sales models is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong commercial drive and the ability to identify and prioritise opportunities.

  • Structured in lead follow-up and deal execution.

  • Good understanding of pricing and business cases.

  • Clear communicator, able to explain complex topics in plain language.

  • Comfortable working with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot.
